Saurabh joins the team

This week Saurabh Gupta has joined our group for his PhD. Saurabh graduated with a Bachelor's in Engineering Physics from IIT Delhi and then moved to ETH Zürich for his Master’s. His master thesis focused on exploring protocols to characterize Markovian dynamics using resource theories, and was carried out in the group of Géraldine Haack at Geneva. For his PhD Saurabh will develop theoretically model systems of levitated mechanical resonators coupled to spins and explore protocols to generate non-Gaussian motional states of levitated particles.
